Susan Auer

Susan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®, as well as a National Social Security Advisor (NSSA®), and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Confidence Financial Partners Team.

Passionate about empowering every client to achieve their financial goals, she is excited to work with Dustin and his clients to continue to create excellent client experiences. She believes the key to client success is through well-established relationships and comprehensive individual plans. Susan loves getting to know each client, learn about their dreams, motivations, and goals – but also to listen and hear what issues or concerns may be present. She thrives on building and nurturing relationships and believes in really getting a holistic ‘big picture’ understanding of each client’s situation.

Prior to her role as a Wealth Advisor with her former RIA, Susan, she spent eight years helping the clients at USAA develop financial plans. Her engagement with USAA members included a full spectrum of different stages of life and their needs in building a strong financial future – from working with young Air Force Academy Cadets and College Campus ROTC Cadets, to complex strategies for retired senior officers and military veterans.

As a Financial Planner, Susan’s focuses on a holistic financial planning that includes savings goals, investment selection, retirement planning, estate planning, family and legacy planning, life insurance/protection planning, and health strategies (specifically Medicare Solutions).

A Colorado Springs native, Susan is enjoying raising her two children with her husband Mike. Susan and Mike feel blessed to reside in the same area, with a true love for the beautiful state we live in and the great outdoors. She and her family enjoy camping, hiking and biking and have a great appreciation for the blessings of nature. Susan also has a passion for fitness and improving the lives of those in the community.
