Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michael Hartman has worked in Financial Services for over 13 years and has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional for nine of those years. He also holds the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) and is an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Southern Colorado.

Michael’s passion is helping clients find confidence and clarity as they approach and move through retirement. He views his role as a guide, walking with clients on their financial roadmap and helping them navigate important decisions with purpose. Known for his ability to make complex concepts relatable, Michael uses real-life scenarios to explain financial strategies so that clients feel both understood and empowered.

Growing up in Flagstaff, Arizona, a vibrant college town, Michael was shaped by interactions with people from all walks of life. That perspective continues today in Colorado, where, as an avid mountain biker, he regularly crosses paths with everyone from trash collectors to professors, nurses to CEOs. He enjoys connecting with people across these diverse backgrounds, which mirrors the variety of clients he serves.

Michael is married and the proud father of two teenagers, with a family dog that often joins in their outdoor adventures. He thrives in Colorado’s natural beauty, where he can be found mountain biking, hiking, or camping in every season. Beyond his professional work, he volunteers at mountain bike events in Southern Colorado and often supports local nonprofit and business community rides.

His personal philosophy is simple: work hard, play hard. Michael is grateful to live close to the mountains while building meaningful relationships with clients and guiding them toward retirement plans that align with their goals. His ultimate aim is for every client to feel understood, confident, and well-prepared for the future.
